    5oz or less not go thru customs?

    I remember I went to the post office to mail something and filled out a customs form. The postal lady said to just throw the form away since the package weighed less than 5oz and thus didnt need to go thru customs?

    Is this true for incoming (to the US) packages as well?

    Bro ,I believe everything passes through custom's after 911.they just pic and choose what they check.

    yeah it probably all goes thru customs, you just dont have to declare it if less than 5 oz.
