whats the difference. the best time to do cardio/fat burn is in the morning before you eat breakfast because that is when your body is in its most catabolic state

i think he's referring to what the cardio machines show as the difference between fat burn and cardio. The ones at my gym show where your heart rate should be for "fat burn" and a little bit higher is "cardio"

IMO doing cardio is to improve your cardiac muscle and cardiovascular system. Fot fat burn I've heard the lower heart rates are optimal but if you wanna be able to run / fight for a longer time without gassing I would recommend cardio.. IMO this was a legitimate question... At least for me cardio and fat burn are diffrent things... done with a diffrent heart rate

i would assume the fat burn if you do it as long as needed but then again I dont have solid knowledge to back that up.. I guess it depends also on ypur own max heart rate , aerobic capacity etc... some1 else??

fat burn versus cardio
I am on sust and I started doing the "fat burn" mode (lower heart rate but longer time period) instead of the "cardio" mode (higher heart rate but shorter time period) that I usually do.
I seem to be getting more cut with the fat burn mode. Nothing scientific like a bodyfat test to prove it, just what it seems from looking in the mirror.

Higher intensity = higher caloric consumption.
Any other questions?

Higher intensity changes the metabolism from oxidising fatty acids to utilising glucose. Since all the metabolic pathways are integrated I dunno what this concretically means in sense of shedding fat in the long run...
