ways to minimize post-injection pain?
I can deal with an injection fine, but the day and two after it the muscle I shot in (mainly my quads) gets painful. I cannot contract the muscle and also with quads I can have trouble walking...something has to be wrong. My glutes hurts, but I can deal with that pain.
What do you guys do?

don't inject your quads. but heating the oil before the shot helps, and keep massaging and hit the site

massage the inject site after you shoot....then just tough it out...sometimes my quad injects hurt like a mofo, and i'll ride the bike here and there to loosen it up

You could try slowing down the injection, heating pads help, massage the area.

Yeah, I just use my quads all day long walking around, up and down stairs, then worst is going down hills and down stairs..ouch. I will try to avoid the quads. I would use my glutes exclusively, but I want some injection site rotation. I think I might try the pecs, but I am afraid I will stab my lung or heart. heh.
I was told after you pull then needle out, dont put alcohol on the spot, just a dry cotton ball..I was using alcohol soaked ones, does this cause any more pain?

Smoothest quad inject ever for me was after my leg workout, went in like nothing, hands down best ever. So now sometimes I will run stairs for a while to pump the muscle before the inj, seems to help. Also takin a shower after inj and running very hot water down the inj site helps with quad pain.

Add some injectable b-12 to the barrel.

The pain gets kind of bad the day after, and extremely bad on the second day. The third day its mostly gone. It seems anytime I hurt a muscle (injection or not) it gets worse for 48 hrs then improves rather quickly.

i was getting quad pain... i was lnjecting to close the the front of my leg... my bro told me to go more toward the outside of my leg, halfway between my hip and knee. One inch over, no pain. One inch to the front, i couldnt walk. For me, i was to close to the edge of the muscle that i shot into, and thats not very pleasant.

Stab fast and inject slow. I do that and normally dont have any pain the next day.
