    building lean mass

    Im trying to put on some size, but stay halfway lean at the same time. My diet is great, im training hard too. Just wondering what type of protien powder might work best for me.....Thanks....By the way, this is a great site!

    Whey protein is best for quick and easy absorbtion. Take your immediately following your workout or for a filler inbetween meals. Casein is best before retiring. Its slowly digested so your body has a slow constant absortion rate of protein.

    there are protein powders now that gel and coat your small intestine for a time release effect. I don't know how much of that is quackery but if you found some, it might be worth your while to try that right before bed, as long as the powder still had all the aa's you need and at the right purity.
