how much do the pros eat?

just wondering if anyone has an idea of how many calories ronnie coleman or other top pros eat every day?

A fall issue of Flex last season had a piece on Gunter Sch'l..something (if anyone can pronounce his last name please let me know cause its been bothering me).....his offseason intake, if im not mistaken, was in the ballpark of 3,800kcalories (calories) from whole foods not including protein supplements . Off topic, in another issue, Jake Cutler stated that his food bill alone was in the ball park of $50K....granted its a 'write off' for him, its still a lot of food......try doing the math on that......

Im really interested in hearing some more feedback on this, although im sure most of the Olympia contendants consume the same amount.

How many times do you hit the can eating 10-12k a day. I have a hard time getting down 4k. 10-12 sounds a little high

yeah i seen an interview with jay that showed just what kinds of foods he eats a day. You want to talk about a sh*t load of carbs. Just in the morning, he has like a carton of eggs, 2 cups of oats, bowl of fruit, and a protein shake!

and he has meals like every 2 hours...... so at that size, you can guess he eats quite a bit.

if u watch any of their videos, they dont consume anywhere near 10k.. id say offseason between 4-6k, and contest 3-4

They are not SO different than what some of us here do, they just have dedicated the Time, and have extremely good genetics. Look at the post of Jayhova's workout partner, he is 23 and probably doesn't eat much better than me, but looks 100x's better.
