Using a 1.5" needle in the quads

My friend said he has two more weeks left on his cycle and noticed that he only has a few 1" needles left (for quads), several 5/8" needles left (for delts) and more than enough 1.5" needles (for glutes). He wants to know if he can use a 1.5" needle to do quad injections if he only pushes the needle in 1". Thanks.

If your able to hold the needle in the same position during aspiration an injection there wouln`t be a problem.

Sure he can. I usually use a 1.5" for quads and sink it approx. 1.25". Just follow the same path you would for a 1" pin...just not all the way in.

Yes, 1.5" is fine for quads. If his bf% is extremely low and his quads aren't that big, then he may want to go in at an angle or cut 1" off of the cap and inject with the cap on.

yes u can use 1 1/2 in. if he has big quads he can go all the way if not just estimate an inch and shoot. i do it all the time cause i end up procrastinating when its time to buy pins.

i use 1.5 for glutes and quads. 1 for delts. Although I could get away with 1.5 for delts. depends your size. I have no fat anywhere in my shot areas.

You can go all the way in with a 1.5 neways its not a big deal. I have gone all the way in to delts with a 1.5 and had no probs. But like everyone else said just shove it in 2/3 of the way and hold it there with ur other hand.

I cut the cap so that only on inch goes in. This makes the injection stable since you bottom out and safe because you have a 1/2 inch sticking out in case you hit a nerve and mess up the set up.

Read this advice on this board and am glad I did. It is a lot easier than trying to hold the pin 1/2 inch out of your leg.
