I use skim milk for oatmeal..and water for my PWO shake.Reason being,I don't want any fat in the milk to slow the absorption process.

Oatmeal with skim milk and a hint of splenda. Sometimes I throw half a banana in there as well. Oatmeal in water is just plain disgusting. LOL

Well i use less than a cup of orange juice for my protein shakes, and if you go to most gyms that have juice bars you'll notice they do the same. Won't have to worry about the fat like in milk plus it tastes alot better.

You are a big motha F*cka (If that's you in the pic)

As for the protein, I use water post workout with nesquik. Milk contains cassein protein and fat which is known to slow down the digestion process. That's why at bed time you have cottage cheese, all of the cassein helps to slowly absorb at night while you're fasting for 8 hours. Back on track...

Water, protein and nesquik is my preferred choice. Nesquik contains maltodextrin and dextrose which has shown to be asbsored better than most sugars. So you are getting a fast delivery system of protein and carbs to your muscle cells. Peace.
