For a cutter, if I understand your question, you can also use sterile oil or grape seed oil. Both will cut the gear, but Grape seed oil has an excellent rep for cutting the pain of certain products.

I just tried it today, and i was literally able to measure out a cc of prop and b-12 b/c of the separation. It's obviously oil and water, is there anyway to mix them?
