    Proscar

    Sorry guys but I couldnt find what i was looking for and just wanted to be correct. 5mg of proscar is equal to 5 tablets 1mg of propecia correct? So proscar is 5 times stronger than propecia correct?

    thats correct. if you buy proscar for hair loss just cut up the proscar pill into 4 parts. dont ask why, but its much cheaper this way.

    fck yea also is it a slow released drug? So i could just take 1 5mg pill every 5 days?

    1.25mg a day is best. takes up to 3 months of continuos use before it starts fully working

    No, it has a very short half life. If anything it would be beneficial to take it twice a day. Once a day is the typical dosing though.

    Myself, i just switched to advodart/dutasteride from www.ar-r.com after using propecia for over four years

    If I can remember right, Proscar/Propecia blocks DHT-I and avodart blocks DHT-I and DHT-II. It is up in the air as to if this helps tho.

    So with limiting test conversion to DHT and helping wth hairloss, is Avodart (dutasteride) more effective than Proscar and it's active ingredient of Finesteride?

    Which would be better for the prevention of DHT...dutasteride or Proscar? In everyone's opinion; for AS's like TestC, EQ, Masteron , Winny and other AS's that are more prone to causing hairloss and/or derivatives of DHT...what have people had the most success with?

    dutasteride blocks type 1 (acne problems) and type 2 (hair problems) 45 fold more than finasteride (PROSCAR)

    After lots of reading; I have 90% of it and I'm going with Avodart. How about time frame of taking Avodart? If someone doesn't have a heredity problem, can it be taken ONLY during a cycle for preventing DHT? Or woudl someone have to run it between cycles too?

    Could I use my Proscar for the rest of my cycle now and the pick up in another 6 months and use Avodart?
