    Nova before cycle

    Hi bro's,
A friend of mine started to take nova at 20mg/ed 1 week before his test/deca cycle. He said that would help him close his "estrogen receptors" befors he put on some test.
Does that information proceed? Do you think it's a valid procedure?

Personally, I feel that your best results will come if you don't use Nolva until about 2 - 3 weeks into a cycle. You need estrogen. You need it! The trouble arises when you have too much of it as a male.

I've heard the theory about using Nolva/tamox before cycle, and it just doesn't make sense to me. Keep your estrogen levels in check. Don't eliminate them completely, unless you develop gyno, then it's a different situation.

Why would estrogen be important during a cycle?

Using nolvadex is not going to reduce your estrogen levels in theory...it will however reduce estrogens activity by competing for the many of the same active sites...
