I like to take about 4-5 days off every 3 months or so. Or even when my body tells me too. It wont kill you.
or just do some pushups pullups those types of thing while you can't go to the gym.
yea, im probably gonna stick to chinups, situps, and pushups
The best thing u can do is stay w/ ur cardio like mentioned & do push ups & pull ups, as many reps as u can until failure for about 5-7 sets. also close hand tricep push-ups, tricep reverse dips w/ a chair behind u. squats w/ ur hands behind ur head w/ a weight plate. basically do any home workout until failure. u have to make the best for that week.
that's what I would do but if you think you might need a break it wouldn't hurt you either.Quote:

Personally, I wouldnt do any sort of weight lifting or excersise, just take that time to rest and grow, I took 2 weeks of this past summer that was the best thing I ever did, I came back to the gym stronger than ever.
I'd go complain to the university and tell them there ****in up my training so they better just let me lift....
u got an student housing complex's they usually have small but effective gyms for when u cant go to the universities for some reason
I'm in the same situation, have to go home for a week and i just started a cycle.. i just researched gyms close to my house, you can get day passes for like 5 bucks.. i think thats what im going to do. Otherwise like they mentioned above there are a good amount of excercises you can do domestically. Perhaps even your community has a rec center like mine with a small assortment of weights.
