Bruising or Infection after injection

I injected my friend (his 2nd shot) saturday night outside and it was really cold and his ass was shaking around. I injected 3 cc's (1 deca300, 2 test200) into his glute. The needle was kinda moving over the place because his leg was shaking so much. We did everything EXTREMELY sanitary, and alcohol wiped everything etc etc. The past few days where i injected he has been very sore and it has grown pinkish/redish. It is slightly warmer than the rest of his body. His dad is an anethsioglogist (sp), so he is being administerd antibiotics through an IV. However, I dont believe this is an injection but perhaps internal bleeding? or maybe extreme muscle bruising.

My questions are:

1. What can this be? Is it possible to be just a bruise?
2. If its infection will antibiotics help and make it go away?

let me get this straight. You were poking the dude in the ass in the parking lot? lol. Just kidding. I wouldn't worry too much. If still a problem after a week or so i might do something.

Just keep an eye on it,if it get worse etc get him to go an get it checked out just to be safe

No,it's quite common.Run a search you'll find a thousand threads with guys crying about a little soreness/redness...guess what?They all lived.
