    Synthriod?

    How do you guys feel about the use of syntriod before or instead of cytomel ?

    depends.... taking t4 is more natural to your body....keeps your thyroid working to convert t4 into t3......taking straight t3 supposedly can suppress your thyroid...but read Hookers profile on it....seems like its not as harsh as ppl make it seem and if it does slow it down, your body usually recovers pretty quickly.


    I'm pretty sure the general rule is that t3 is about 4x as strong as t4, so just keep that in mind when dosing it out. The usual replacement dosage for t4 is 150 mcgs.....

    Taking it for weight loss which i'm sure is what your planning the dose would be higher than that

    Usually t3 is taken at around 80-100 mcgs

    so What your saying is if one was going to use thyriod for weight lose than they might as well us t3.

    I have seen synthriod given as low as 25mcg for hypothyriodism

    I used to take 400-600mcg
