Quick question on needle size

I have always used 1", 25guage needles for glute shots. I am fairly lean. When I push the needle in, I go the whole way in and the barrel of the syringe will actuall dimple the skin, so the needle goes in pretty far.

It was recomended to me to use 1 1/2 23 guage for glutes.

Here is my question, I want to go to 1 1/2, 23 guage to make sure I go deep into the muscle. How far should the needle go in, fully or should some of it be visable? If I go the whole way in with the needle, should I still dimple the skin with the barrel of the syringe?

If the needle should be partly visable, it seems like it would be harder to steady.

You are changing the size of the needle, not the length. Just do what you have been doing.

I leave alittle out in case in breaks off, want to be able to get to it, but chances of it breaking, not very much, but I like to be safe then sorry.

you never wont to push all the way in. leve a 1/16 out so if for what ever resion it brake you can grab it. i had one brake on me once. if i was to have pushed in all the way. i would have had to gone to the doc to get it it.

hey just wondering.. is liquid anadrol any good? used a long with dbol and test suspension..

Zapp, I am going up in length and gauge.

Gsxxr/BigGuns: I never had one break, but there is always that first time, so I will take your advice. So I will put the needle in the whole way except leave about 1/16" or so out. Now I am used to going the whole way in. It seems easier to steady as I am pushing the plunger. Is it going to be very hard to steady the needle since the barrel won't be resting on anything?

the first few times you will find it a little hard. but you will get use to it.

i like to use a 19g for my bicepts! makes it go in SMOOTHE!

19Guage?? Don't know about going thick.

Another questions. This may be stupid, but the syringes that I buy are the thick. I saw some picts of real thing ones. Probably about a 1/4" thick. They seem like they would be easier to inject with. The ones I buy now are about 1/2" thick. If anyone could tell me where I could buy these syringes, on the net in the US, please send me a pm if you don't mind.

I have slin pins that are like this. The barrel is real thin.

just get the ones from AR there BD.
