Take a look at the educational threads - loads of good info there, and run a search on T3 / cytomel / thyroid (one at a time) if you have any questions after that, post 'em up!

At only 18 I would hope you don't need to resort to drug use quite yet.
1/2lb a week isn't bad.
Like mentioned above, you're too young to be using it.
Work on your diet/cardio regimen instead... I'm sure it's not perfected. Be patient, you're young... it takes time to see results.
