for shooting in the glutes is there really that much of a difference from using 1 inch instead of 1 1/2 inch. If so what are the benifites to the 1 and 1/2 inch, iv always used 1 inch so let me know

the deeper you go, the better, for the most part. The difference between a 1" un my quads to a 1 1/2 is night and day.A 1" with prop and I am hobbling around for 2 or 3 days. A 1 1/2 and I can workout legs the next day no problem.

Depends on BF%. I use 1" for my butt, and 5/8" everywhere else

People with low BF could get away with use a shorter length needle. I personally like to use 1.5"ers for glutes and 1"ers for all spot injections.
