breaking the tops off?

sometimes when i break the tops off some of the broken glass ends up inside the vial can anybody help me with this. Thank you. Is there something i can buy out there to help me break these tabs off safer? And where can i buy it?

Try scoring it before you snap it off. A utility knife or something sharp like that.

Yeah, just make sure that you score it real good before you break it off.

there isn't really much of a tool to score it that good but will help. i just ordered an am opener for my sust from a google search. send me a private message & ill tell u the site. or if the administrator is kool w/ it ill mention it on this thread.

what i am using for now is a bic pen cap for leverage over the top & just pull it forward & it will snap. the broken glass i wouldn't be too concerned cause there cant be a piece that small to enter the pin when u extract.

i just use a hammer and smash the amp, because amps suck and vials are much easier.

I had that problem, just bought an amp opener off ebay, very cheap, money well spent lol

my latest technique for those without amp openers, wrap a small piece of clear masking tape around the top of the amp, it keeps the small pieces of glass from falling down into the amp

after that i use a paper towel and a pair of plyers

Dude amp openers are cheap and not against the law to have spend a few bucks get you one. Click the banner up top and in 3 days you will have it.

Just score the glass with a finger nail file. It will open ealily and you need nothing more than that.
