    anti depressants on cycle?

one of my buddies asked me if he could do a cycle while staying on his meds, i told him i would find out because i have no idea. i have read about MAOI's and know not to take that with anything, but these are rarely prescribed anymore. i am not 100% sure if he is on a SSRI, but if it is an SSRI and not an MAOI should he still stop the meds while on cycle or can he stay on his meds while on cycle? thanks in advance.

zolft paxil provac should be cool with most test etc..other that dont know, SSRI will help build muscle but might ad some water weight over time. remeber depression effects every thing mind and body.

i take nortriptyline for stress related migraines and depression. like lennox said. "depression effects everything mind and body." even if i dont think i need it, ill take it because the slightest change in my emotion can knock off my eating and training schedule. ive experienced in the past while on cycle, when i hit rough times i get depressed and ill miss a training day, not eat right. and with my metabolism and good as i got it, ill lose around 2-3lbs in one day if i dont keep on schedule. so IMO, let him stay on his meds.

Need to find out what meds he is on. I know, for a fact, that Zoloft and Test are OK.

SSRIs and AAS work great together. I actually recommend it and I've read studies where this combo is one of the best ways to combat depression. I've taken Celexa and test and I felt great on that combo.

Sorry for hijacking this thread abit ...but I am suffering from constant depressions myself, pretty serious ones actually. Never been to anyone to talk about it ..but how much of a hassle is it to get someone to prescribe some kinds of drugs?.

I also found you can get almost every SSRI online as well too. It's about the same price as prescription generics so whatever is the easiest for you.

Ya I take Lexipro............I have for two years now. It is good for depression and anxity. No problem with my AAS use. I like it alot. I have done three test only cycles now. It also helps boost esteem I think, I mean with working out and eating right. But It just gives me more energy also.
