You are in Florida and I'm in Cali, so your tv and radio stations are nothing like mine I would venture to guess. Same can be said of those in every other place but yourself.

Probably that it was "killing thousands of Americans".
However, they forgot that the war in Iraq is killing 10 times as many.
Wow, priorities huh?

I saw something the other day about clenbuterol on the "hollywood insider" or something like that (not that i ever watch these shows ) Said it was the secret many top celebrities have been using to cut fat and build muscle (muscle ?). It said it was only FDA approved for veterinary use of treating equine asthma, and so it must be very dangerous stuff. Then they interviewed someone with a blacked out face saying she used the stuff and it felt her heart was going to blow and couldnt stop sweating. WTF?

The main point was that people are taking doses way too high, and injuring their hearts.. They said there was no dose stated for humans because it was made for horses, so unless it is tested any dose is too high, o_O

You've gotta love the media.
Anything for a story to fill a time slot.
Just like police meeting their end of the month quotas by giving out bitch tickets.

Katie Curic interviewed some woman about it on the Today show 2 mornings ago. I totally forgot. People are calling it the Skinny Drug, saying people lose weight so fast etc.... Typical Media BS.

Man I hate media BS. I remember I used to know this girl who was into journalism, and when the whole ephedra stuff started happening before the ban, all she could talk about was how incredibly dangerous the stuff is. The people reporting on these things know next to nothing about what it is they're saying, but they quote numbers and statistics to make themselves sound valid and smart. Needless to say I got into a pretty heated argument with her lol.
