Does our body naturally produce test. prop., enan., and cyp?

Does our body produce all of these testosterones naturally? and if so which one do we produce most of naturally?

our bodies produce esterless test. But there is free and bound test, with I think the bound test is attached to albumin or shbg

EDIT: don't take my word as gospel though.

Think Syma is right... dont know if it bounds to anyother proteins but SHBG and albumin are definetly the major (or only) ones...

No your body doesnt not produce esters of testosterone . You body produces testosterone base throughout the day (about 14mg ED)

No, all of them are esters which have been attached to the testosterone molecule for different release rates for different uses within the medical community.

And our bodies produce cocaine too, LOL.

Esters are attatched to testosterone to get it soluble in oil so we can inject it. And depending on how long an ester is the slower the release rate of the parent hormone into our bodies. If you would inject just test with no ester, it would be out of your body in 3 hours and you would have to inject it throughout the day.

Attatch an ester to it like enanthate and it slows the release rate of test into our system...this is called a depot. The body cleaves off the ester and you end up with endogenous test. This is true for any drug which can be esterefied. Take for instance haldol (antipsychotic). The physicians wanted the drug to work longer so they attatched the decanoate ester to it so it would work for about 3 to 4 weeks with just a single injection (it's called haldol depot). If they would have attatched a propianate ester to haldol, they would have to inject the patient every 2 days.

This works exactly the same for steroids .
No matter what the parent drug is, if the ester is the same the release time would also be. Hence Haldol decanoate works just as long as Nandrolone decanoate.

Good post bro, very imformative. Do you know what determines whether a drug can be esterified?

Yeah heroin undecoanate even longer. But really, esterifying pharmacheuticals is pretty complex chemistry. It all comes down to whether you can get the parent molecule (drug) to react with other molecules to get an ester (also a molecule) to attatch. This is where my "knowledge" ends. There are guys in the chemistry forum who really know their stuff and have degrees for it.
