First delt injection

I did my first delt injection. I had someone do it for me. I used a 25 guage, 1" pin. When the pin first went in, my delt twitched for bit. I didn't worry about it, just kept injecting. I injected 1.5 cc's. A little later, my delt felt a little sore. The next two days, it felt like it was bruised. No major pain, but I do feel it.

Is this soreness from never injecting into the delts before like virgin muscle or could it have been from the twitching? I never get sore from glute shots, so it is not the juice causing it.

Might be from both, but I would say more from it being a virgin muscle. It should get better the more you inject into it.

i would say its from injectin into virgin muscle mate,it has happened to many!twill get easier.
