    Quick weight gain on first cycle

    I am about a week and a half into my first cycle of Test E 400mg/wk for 12 weeks. I know test E takes around 4-5 weeks to kick in but I have already gained 10 pounds. I havent noticed any other effects such as increased energy or sex drive, and my strength isn't really up that much either. My diet is around 5,000 cals and about 350 grams of protein, before my cycle I was getting around 4,000 cals and 250 grams of protein. Is the weight gain due to the fact that I am eating more or is the test just kicking in early? BTW i started at 215lbs and 11% Bf and now im 225lbs. Thanx

    Thats what I was thinking but I didnt think that 1000 cals a day would make that big a difference????

    well maybe your body just needed that extra 100 grams of protein and it had been waiting for the extra cals...you provided and you got exactly what you wanted...weight gain keep it up and you should have good results from that cycle

    water and fat...

    4-5000 cals is a good range...you should probably be getting more protein tho, like over 400g/day
    wait til about wk8/9 and you'll notice a difference i betcha

    im havin same thing happen, and we runnin same gear..... and i eat like shit
    just ate 8 servings of spagetti lol!

    even if u have gained some fat that can only be like about 2 pounds of ur total 10.. IMO the rest must be water and maybe ur intestines holds a lil more since u r eating more.. The same thing happens to me when I diet - but the opposite. I drop like 10 lbs in a week. dont sweat it, u should be just fine. That is if 4000 kcals is normal for u (without roids)..
