Testosterone Enanthate - when does it really kick in?
Hi guys.... I am on day 14 of my first 8 week cycle of Testosterone Enanthate (500mg per week).
I have been eating and drinking heaps and subsequently put on around 5kg of weight in that time, however so far have not seen any difference in terms of strength or size. I know it is long acting, but should I be worried that I am not feeling anything yet? When does it usually kick in, and will it be obvious?

Ok..........ill talk from experience here. Im on my first cycle and just started week 8 of test. I did 4 weeks of d-bol at the start. For me the strength was there when I finished the d-bol so id say it takes 4-5 weeks to see strength gains............however the size is only just starting to come in (around week 7). I was originally planning 10 weeks of test but seing as its taken all this time to kick in im going to run it for 12................I sugest you do the same............12 weeks instead of 8..........8 weeks isnt long enough IMO as it takes such a long time to kick in and see results.

Thanks for the reply. I see what you are saying with the 12 weeks instead of 8.... but since test-e is long acting, it will still be active in your system for 3-4 weeks after your last shot right? Meaning that you should still see gains for a total of 8 weeks?

i feel it between 4 and 6 usually towards 6

Yeah... the 10 pounds is definitely not muscle The question is when I should really begin to notice strength and size gains, because at the moment I'm not feeling anything

Anyone else have experiences and can advise when I should really 'feel' stronger and start noticing gains?

Next time consider dbol the first 4 weeks of your cycle so you start getting strenght and weight increases starting around day 5. Don't throw dbol in now, save it for the next cycle.

i will not see any major gains till week7-8 myself,imo 8 weeks is not long enuff on test,10-12 weeks should be the length of a longer actin test cycle!

BTW to help answer your question, I believe its almost universal that when taking longer estered drugs that the 4 week mark you shouuld at least feel on. When the gains come, well for me its at the 6 week mark or so, just like my main man Booz.

1. Strength change timeframe
2. Physical/anatomical change timeframe
I think the comparison would be interesting and valuable.

Ive heard alot of people tell me something............'strength comes first and size comes after'. Strength gains start in week 4-5 and size comes in week 6-8. Anyone else agree with this statement?

Thanks guys for all the info and advice. I will see if I can get some more Test-e and extend it to 12 weeks. Should not be a problem.

4-6 to feel it. it's different for everybody.
but since it's your first cycle, it should kick in a little earlier - probably week 4.

I just gained 10 lbs in my first week on enathate. 100% water!! THen I kicked in some novadex and it dropped down to 4-5lbs of water. Some ppl hold alot of water. So the guy who said you cannot gain 10lbs froma single test.
I did.

No one here frontloads?
Wouldn't it be better to frontload and run a shorter cycle of 12 weeks than not frontload and go to 16 weeks?
