You can draw them up in the same pin. I usually draw them up in the same pin, then pull some air into the needle to clean out the needle tip, then change the tip and put a fresh sharp tip (the rubber stopper dulls the pin) then force out most of the air (i leave a little in to purge the needle tip) but you can push out all the air, then your good to go.
You can mix Oil/Oil based and Oil/Water based AS.
