did I inject to high?

Howdy,
My old lady is a nurse and she injected me in my left gluteal area. By the next day the pain was almost unbearable, the muscle swoll and then I noticed today that not only that muscle swoll, the lower back muscle swoll also. I know propanate makes you sore, so I would imagine the double dose I did would make me a little more sore, but geez that was bad. I feel better today though. Also if I didn't hit a nerve going in, could injecting 2 cc's maybe put some pressure on a nerve?

2 ccs of prop is a pretty healthy shot. Without knowing exactly where she injected its tough to say if it was place wrong. I would say its just swelling and not a nerve. Thats why most guys use the delts and quads...seems less prone to swell.

WELL THINK ABOUT 2CCs of oil into a muscle. Its bound to swell. especially with prop.

Sus always gives me a soreness in the Glutes, you will notice an increase doing the 2cc's, but i guess you get used to it. I find it kicks in the following day and about another 24-36 hrs has more or less gone. Also, back on the main page there are some pics to help you with injection sites.

yeah thats what I use, but my wife being a nurse I let her do it. And as I'm standing forward and she gets me, I have no idea where she does it.

if your wife is a nurse i'm pretty sure she knows what she is doing but i don't know to many nurses that give shots in the glutes.

Well my biggest concern is I don't know to many nurses who give 2cc oil based shots. so I figure with the swelling I got what I asked for.

Most importantly, does she know where the shot is SUPPOSE to be done? this is a key factor here...

upper outer buttocks. She knows where to do it. The first one was perfect. hurt for a day then started to dissapate. this one in the left cheek, I think was a little high, or my body went on a rejection strike. It was pissed. today is the first day the swelling is coming down. it was rock hard, and like leather tight skin.

when i did mine I shot in the butt but never again prefer quad.
