Cardio a few miles/wk wouldnt' hurt your gains any. But it also depends on your personal body habitus(attributes). Everyones body is different therefore try out light to moderate cardio and see if don't lose too much weight.

looks like your on a bulking cycle.
your diet will dictate wether you tighten everything up not your gear.
and cardio...i hate cardio, you burn too much muscle.if you loss a pound of muscle, thats too much.

dont run when you can walk
dont walk when you can sit
dont sit when you can lay
    and ......well,just sleep and grow!!

    untrue,
with the correct diet and cardio you will burn fat not muscle.

you will always lose some muscle.ALWAYS.
when you diet your strength inevitabley drops,if even a few pounds here and there.if your not lifting as heavy as you once did your muscles plain and simply will not be as big.theres no need for them to remain as large.

    cruel but true

    Let's define 'cardio' here:

Running or jogging/fast cycling/intense rowing = muscle (& fat) loss no matter what your diet consists of...

Moderate speed walking/stationary bike/stepper = fat loss & minimal muscle loss IF YOUR DIET AND TIMING IS RIGHT

correct, if the right cardio and diet you will lose body fat and maintain your muscle, but you do have to know what your doing..

I always thought aerobic light cardio with moderate regulated heart rate will burn fat without sacrificing muscle. for example, walking on treadmill at an incline.

i've been dieting for four weeks now and i have lost 8 kilos and have put on nearly half an inch on all my bodyparts. What i do for cardio is anywhere between 50-75 minutes of cardio 5 times a week. What i do is power walk for 6 minutes then jog for 4 minutes and continue that till time is up. Up untill i started this method i was struggling to loose the fat, but now with the right diet and cardio i lost weight and put on muscle and thats without AAS.

i do morning cardio at 5am, then im back at the gym at 3, and i lift heavy, my waist and bf has gone down 5% and my weights are slowly going up... now they would obviously going up much more if i was on a bulking diet, but i get good sleep, and i eat right. Good pwo meals, and keeping the good calories comming in, in my opinion you should be fine

From research, generally speaking of couse (this changes from person to person) A good rule of thumb when doing cardio is to stick to under 16mins. Exercises should either be a stationary bike or eliptical machine.

The workout should be done at a very high pace and record your results each time. (calories, distance etc.) Each cardio session should you should try to push yourself harder than the previous routine.

If done correctly this should burn fat at a steady rate and have close to no muscle loss. This routine is for those on a mass cycle (aas or not) and obviously not the "best" cardio routine for fat loss, but will help shed some fat and hold on to muscle gains.

bulking 1 day of cardio max.......QUIT BURNING THE CANDLE AT BOTH ENDS!

i'LL NEVER UNDERSTAND those that do cardio daily and then come on here "WHY AM I NOT GAINING WEIGHT????"

save the cardio for diet, you'll shred up much much faster!

1 day of cardio per week?

WOuld a 20-30 minute light session (incline treadmill walk) after each workout be beneficial at all?
I usually do this daily. It also seems to get the soreness out, both from workouts and if my legs are a little tender from quad injections).
