What natural occurances cause Testosterone levels to drop?

Reason I'm asking is because I'm 24 and my Testosterone levels are way low for my age- probably even low for someone who's 50. It was this way even before cycling for the first time, so that's not the case. Thinking back, I can remember the decline in sexdrive around age 19. My grilfriend and I used to be like rabbits then it changed and a month would go by without bumpin ugly's. I also noticed a little depression happening. Anyone know reason's for this to happen at such a young age?:unsure: :cry:

go see a doctor man. It could be signs of somthing more serious than just not being able to "bump uglies". Or it could be as simple you thinking your test levels are low creating all these symptoms. I honestly think you should see a doctor and be truthfull about your use as well. Although it may have no link, he will need all info to make a sound diagnoses.

When stress increases your estrogen levels tend to go up, so this could be a reason fot lower Test levels. As men age their Test levels decrease, however, your too young for that. I would go to a doc if it does not improve in a little while

I had my T- levels checked in September 2001. 293 out of a scale of 241-827- VERY LOW. This was before I went on a cycle of SUS/EQ. I feel that since I had decreasing sex drive at age 19, and notice of slight depression- that this has been going on for quite some time now. Not sure what could be the cause, just want to fix it. My Estradiol was 29 out of a scale ND(not detectable)- 54.

Alright, well since you have a history of this problem that has followed you for quite some time, I would not associate it to stress. I am very surprised that your Doc has not written you a script for Test. I would honestly speak so your Doc and tell him how this problem is affecting your sex drive, abd your mental state since you feel as if you are becoming depressed because of it.

Did you notice many changes when you were on the Sus/EQ cycle that you felt when you were a teenager?

You need increase your T. That is an unhealthy level. I would look into using HCG as a T alternative. If don't want to have kids and dont care about shrunken nuts then go for T. But there are many guys using HCG (500 IU Mon, Weds, Fri) for years with success. I hear stories of guys in your range getting into over 1000 with just 1500 IU a week. This is not a dose that will ruin your cells either. You might need an anti-estrogen depending on how sensitive you are to increased estrogen levels which can occur. Check out the google sites. Funny thing is on the SUS/EQ my sex drive did not go up either on 500mg of SUS/ 400mg of EQ??? I was taking Proscar, which I heard will kill it, but seems to me I would feel or notice being a little hornier...but no not really. I hope the Dr. can do something for me. I hope it was the Finasteride killing my sexdrive, because if it's not there may be a major problem:(

Kill the Proscar if you can. Try a topical anti-androgen like Spirolactone. Search the alt.hairloss section of google to find out how to purchase and make yourself. Its much better..just takes time to apply.

Hey Bro, let me tell you something about sex drive. We all know that everybody has a different level of drive, but at your age you should want it often. I am also 24 and I'm hornier than ever, with or without gear. That being said, there was once a time right around 18-19 that I just wasn't horny. Sounds weird, I even had my test levels checked and I was higher than normal. I had half hard erections and sometimes none at all. I was real upset about it because I'm a good looking guy and at the time I was scoring a lot of chicks. This really caused a problem for me. I finally figured out wht my problem was.... It was all mental. It happened because I was telling myself it would. I don't even know why, but it happened. When I finally got control of this issue the effects disappeared almost immediatly. The power of the mind is incredible. You should ask yourself what the problem really is and face your demons. The reason I think your prob is mental is due to the fact that even on a cycle of some serious libido boosting shit you didn't feel any different.

It could be mental but with a Total T of 293 at his age that just ain't going to cut it.

Lets not also forget that testosterone affects us mentally.

The- Juice...I know what you mean about the mind, it is very powerfull, but I don't think this can be mental. I mean I can look at porn mag and it doesn't even do anything for me, I look at the girl on the page and see tit's that are just tits - it's not that feeling I used to get - you know...how you get all excited. I never get hard on's during the day outta nowhere like I used to. I do however wake up with them sometimes- so there's gotta be some mojo left in that guy:rolleyes: . The last couple times I have been with chicks it takes alot longer to get a "half hard on". I even popped a Viagra cause my roomate was all about them for rock hard erection's, and nothing same old half hard jimmy. I don't know bro, but I gotta fix this shit.

Strutt- How much does Finasteride actually affect you? Also, I posted a thread if Proviron causes hairloss like Winny because of DHT, is that a side effect of Proviron? I was thinking about getting some Proviron if the Dr. can't do shit for me.

Finasteride blocks the enzyme 5 alpha reductese (correct spelling?) which converts testosterone to DHT. A reduction in DHT levels can prevent male pattern baldness to a certain degree.

But since Finasteride blocks DHT, that leaves the testosterone to convert to a different pathway which is estrogen. I have read many stories of men becoming impotent or lose some libido. How much this will effect you is an individual thing. If you already have high estrogen levels or are overweight this can be a bad thing.

I take DHT (Proviron) and I like what it does for me. Actually Provirion is almost like DHT. DHT works the brain receptors which is why Proviron can make you horny.

Yes Proviron can cause hairloss. Any androgen will cause hairloss as a side effect. Like I said, use a topical anti-androgen instead.

Topical- anti estrogen, gotta remember that one...thanks alot for the great information brutha. Crazy, I wonder if Finasteride can be contributed to causing gyno since it stops the DHT conversion and raises estogen, something to think about...

Topical anti-androgen, not anti-estrogen.

Proscar CAN cause gyno if you are prone to it and like I said, are already overweight or have high estrogen levels.

Proviron (almost identical to DHT) REDUCES estrogen.

Thats why I wouldn't mess with Proscar or any pills because there is no pill that targets blocking DHT from your hair follicle 100%, not even Duasteride (an improved pill in development). There are always side effects.

Check out lipoxidil.com. I use their topical Spiro. Its the shit. The base they use to penetrate the scalp is the bomb. Its in lipid form. It smells a little like a faint Ben-Gay or something.

They're a legit site that makes good hairloss products. They are new and very innovative and you can read the tesimonials on teh google hairloss sites. I am having good success in preventing hairloss without Propecia.

I can now try anything and not have to worry about hairloss.

Sweet cause Winny's been on my todo list. That info just got me real excited. Originally I wanted to do a Var/EQ cycle- to keep sides low, no hairloss, acne, etc. But Var prices are outta hand especially BTG or SPA. So now that the hairloss part is covered Winny wouldn't be a concern. A Winny/EQ cycle would be good for cutting and throw some Proviron in the mix to help out with loss of sexdrive, ya baby. Every cycle should have test as the base. Your natural production of testosterone will shut down within weeks and you will need to inject test unless you want to walk around limp dick on a Winny/Eq only cycle.

You can try:

Test - 300-400Mg
Eq - 300-400
Winny 50 MGs ED (weeks 4-10)


Of course you can change the weeks. But I would go no less than 10 weeks on cycle with Eq as I hear EQ really kicks in after weeks 6-8.

As far as I know all steroids are anabolics. That means no matter what you take, it will help you build muscle. The more muscle mass you carry, the more calories you are able to burn (including fat).

That means you should be able to do a cutting cycle with a Testosterone only cycle, for example. In this cycle, the only thing you would worry about is estrogen which can be blocked with a anti-e. That means you will not have the bloating. Androgens burn fat. The bottom line I believe is cardio and diet. If you eat clean you should get clean results. If you lift and run you should get clean results.

You can go with Kaz's advice. But remember CARDIO and DIET is what makes you cut! Steroid help build muscle. There is no such thing as a cutting steroid, not even Winny or Primo.

True, it is all about diet. I know that they arn't going to cut you up eating a cheeseburger diet (except one bro over at Elite claims his chesseburger diet is the shit) and that it is your diet, but Winny, Var, Primo tend to make you hard and give you that solid apperance. I have a question for you. Do you feel that Proviron is better than Liquidex for using it as an anti E along with a cycle? Maybe Proviron is the key ingredient for me? Along with the topical Spirolactone, cut out the Proscar, try another Test cycle at a Low dose. Do you add Proviron to all your cycle's? Do you add Test to all your cycle's? Is DHT the culprit for causing acne? Ok, enough ?'s for now, but you got me thinking here.

Liquidex, as far as I know, is the most potent anti-estrogen available. But that does not mean that you can't get good results with Proviron.

I never used Liquidex but I do like Proviron as an anti-e. Yes, I use test as my base in all of my cycles. I thnk most vets will agree that is the way to go. Test is still the king of all anabolics.
