2 other lab tests that need to be done are checking your troponin 1 and myoglobin levels....the ck is reliable but takes 12 hours after the incident to show up and usually resolves or lowers in 72 hours....these other test will confirm with the ekg and ck-mb wheither you had any cardiac damage....
