Glass inside amp after I broke it open

Ok, Now this is probably a stupid question !!! How do you keep the glass out of the amp when opening it ? And what do I do if it gets in there ? Sorry guys

pop the top off with a pen cap, it should snap right off. if you do get glass inside, try to dodge it with the pin, it shouldnt fit in there anyway but better to be safe than sorry.

make sure you wrap the top with some tissue or a small rag so you don't cut yourself...and if glass gets in there don't worry too much, just try your best to avoid the needle touching the broken piece...you should be fine bro! ; )

Yeah that's my opinion as well. If there is glass in there try to avoid it with the pin. That happened 2 times to me and nothing bad happend. I had to get used to those damn amp openers. Besides i think it'll have to be a really damn small glass to get in the syring. GOod luck

Like Matty said...pen top works best. If it's still a problem try scoring the neck with a nail file first.

I always sore then use the pen top, hate to waste any of the good stuff. If peice of glass is small shouldn't suck up into pin anyhow.
