Red face Blood in syringe after injecting

I injected today and I pulled out the pusher and got airbubbles so I injected. After I pulled out the needle I noticed a couple of drops of blood in the syringe. I was wondering if I should worry about this or if it just happens sometimes.

I wouldnt worry about it just be more carefull when aspirating in the future . Did you see bubbles then instantly inject? If you hit a vein it takes a little while for the blood to come up the needle so i wait a lil while after i pull the plunger back to make sure nothing comes up. Same thing happened to me a while ago and that was why.

i will check for blood like 3 times once the needle is in. just to make sure. i will pull back then let the plunger go down, then pull back again just to make sure theres no blood. i have pulled the needle out and had little drops of blood on the needle before. i think i just went through a spider vein.

It's not a big deal, quite common actually. If you were in a vein you wouldn't have to wait with the plunger pulled back, the blood will immediately rush into the syringe....
