    test/eq for bulking

Since this is my first cycle, maybe you guys can critique my diet.

Just started a 10 week cycle. Test200 (400mg/week) and eq(200 mg/week). Just finishing week one.

    I am 5'8" 165 trying to get to 190.

    Here is my diet:

morning: 40 g of protein (shake) 2 bowls of oatmeal
Snack: 2 cans of tuna fish
lunch: large chicken breast sandwich, salad
    Snack: protein shake
    Dinner: some chicken/turkey, maybe pasta
Snack (post work out) 40 g or so of whey

I want to do this right, so I appreicate your input

    thanks

Looks good to me. Most will say up the dose on the eq, but if it's your first and you want to play it safe...you'll be fine with that. Gotta be eating more than that if you wanna get to 190 though.

    3500 cals
    40% protein
    40%carbs
    20% fat

    350G protein
    350G Carbs
    75g HEALTHY fats

train super intense 4-5 times a week. Limit cardio to 2 times a week for 15-20 min. Split that food into 6-7 meals, cut carbs after post workout shake.

oats, rice, yams, potatoes for carbs

lean meats, eggs, protein shakes, for protein

flax, natural pb, and a couple egg yolks for fats

bro, you need some carbs in that diet (it says that you are trying to bulk up, right?) the protein looks good, the EQ is going to benefit your protein consumption but try adding 80-100 grams of fast absorbing carbs with you post work out shake. dextrose works best, but is near impossible to find alone. the next best alternative would be 100% white grape juice. your shake might not taste the best, but the benefits will surpass that. happy eating...
ps: how long until you go to bed after your post work out shake??

    Thanks for the responses.

    OK. So more carbohydrates.

Actually, the post work out shake is normally 23 g carb, 46 g or protein.

Go to bed about 20 min after shake.

Not that i am trying to disagree with papa because he knows his stuff and i understand you are trying to play it safe. But i feel if you want to see results from EQ the lowest dose you should run is 300mgs and 400mgs is ideal even for a first cycle. JMO though. As for the rest that papa said about the eating and traing he is exactly right. EAT EAT and EAt but eat clean.

I'm with irish. 400mg of eq is really not too much for a first cycle IMO. And going up to 190 is a pretty serious jump- you're going to need the anabolic effect of eq. And 300+ g of protein/day easily.

And like crackle said- dextrose post-workout is good stuff. almost essentiasl I'd say. And it's cheap and easy to get at any wine making store. It cost me like $5 for a 4kg bag.
It's tasty stuff too- makes good lemonade.

He is correct, you need more simple carbs for post workout glycogen replenishment. You can find Dextrose at any brewing store. Look in the phone book and look up one. Dextrose is extremely cheap as well.

If you can't find a brewing store, I would suggest picking up some Cytogainer or something similar. It's 640 cals. per serving. It only has 3g of fats and a couple grams of sugars. Maltodextrose is up at 80g.
