Hey bros I'm over here from BSS and i was just curious about how low you guys beleive your bf should be before trying any AS? My bf is 18% right now and I know it has to be lower before my first cycle but what are your opinions on how low I should go?

I like to get my BF at least to 10% or better before doing a bulking cycle and it does not ever get higher than 14%.

Hey bro, good to see you here. I did my first cycle when I was at 21% and was able to gain 28 lbs of lean mass while lowering my BF% to 17% at the same time. I think it is possible if you diet correctly. I ate like I was cutting but double the amount and it worked for me. I guess it depends on the person. I want to get to 14% or better before my next big cycle.

IMO, bodyfat shouldn't play a factor in determing when to use AS. some powerlifters have bf %'s in the high 20's. what's more important is how long you've been working out, what you eat, etc. if you want your bf to be 10, and you've been working hard to get there naturally for a couple years but have stalled out, now's a good time. everyone's different, and it really depends on you
You must be at exactly 10.36% bf or you will die if you use AS.
It's really whatever you're most comfortable with, but bear in mind that the more excess bulk you carry and the more water you retain, then the more difficult it'll be on your heart and your blood pressure could go too high. Health first.
Bodyfat has no bearing on when you should take AS....
