I use to believe that weights were not important in an ab routine but I have come to change my philosophy. I now work abs like any other body part(once or twice a week) and use either cable or a weight machine in that work out along with slant board and Roman chair work. I have seen a nice improvement in the size and seperation of the abs. Like always diet determines how well you will see them.
