    cutting

    wondering if it is important to eat low carbs when on a cutting cycle such as anavar eq and primo? will the roids do their job anyway or do i have to eat low carbs? (i know protein is a must.) thanks.

    Isocaloric or a somewhat balanced diet. Low carb diets tend to have a rebound effect when you increase the carbs again.

    It means 40% of your diet is carbs, 40% is Protein, and 20% is fat...

    Example, on meal under these ratios would be..

    40 grams of carbohydrates
    40 grams of protein
    20 grams of fat

    or

    80 grams of carbohydrates
    80 grams of protein
    40 grams of fat

    Just an example...they both fall under those ratios....

    Does that help?

    wooah! hold up a minute! i think u got it a bit wrong my friend (i'm 99.99999% sure about it). 40% 40% 20% does NOT mean weight terms, it means caloric terms. Remember calories per gram:

    carbs = 4/g
    protein = 4/g
    fat = 9/g.

    running it in weight terms, if you ate about 300g carb, 300g protein, you need 150g fat per day = definite no no for cutting , actually definite nono whenever!

    the breakdowns given are caloric so if you want 40/40/20 then per meal you'd have lets say 50g carb, 50g protein, 10-11g fat. (200 cal protein, 200 cal carbs, 100 cal fat).

    Diet

    Good advice on diet, but if you want to get very lean, you many need to lower carbs a bit depending on your metabolism. Also steroids to not make you lean, diet does. Just certain ones cause less water rention and have a harden affect on muscles, which means nothing if you diet does not undercover them.
