I used to work as a Corrections Officer. That was enough to convince me that I never wanted to be in there!
That brings me to another point. We really need to do something about our justice system, ALL of those people in there were innocent!! lol

4 years for 65 pounds of weed from tj mexico. did the time in jersey.
I escaped doing prison time. I was before the judge, the shinks and the D.A. were both saying send him to prison. Then the judge stopped them and asked the D.A. if judge Bine had sent me here, the D.A. said yes. The judge said I'm not doing his dirty work get this man out of my court room. My lawyer grabbed me by the shirt, when we got outside the court room. He told me I was the luckest MOFO he had ever known. He said that judge always sent people to prison.

Didn't mean to hijack Abstrack's thread
I was arrested a few times back in the day. Luckily I was only a minor so the most I ever got was a slap on the wrist. And sad to say I had a PO officer my senior yr in HS. Every friday I remember having to go to her office and to tell her that I was being a good boy and that I was getting good grades in school. When I had to sit in the waiting room at her office it was obvious I didn't belong there. But boy, did my friends break my balls for that...Usualsuspect

Stopped once in East Texas by a Sherriff's deputy for driving with long hair (just looked like I was guilty of something). Guy searched my car, no probable cause, found nothing. Mistook my CB for a police scanner.
Was kicked out of the USAF on account of being gay, was kicked out of the Salvation Army for the same thing. Raised hell at work 'cause they were poisoning us low-life workers (filed complaints with OSHA), didn't take 'em long to get rid of me.
That's about it . . . does that count toward anything?

Lotta guys on the board did some time behind bars. Thats kinda funny.
I did some odd months in LA county
I asked to be put on the FIRE CREW and they allowed me to go on even though they are not allowed to put violent offenders on the crew.
Imagine training INMATES on the proper use of CHAIN SAWS, pick axes, SHARP ass shovels and hoes. Got to drive vehicles, work out in the public roads. That made time go by SO QUICK. Not having to deal with the general inmate population for 2/3s of the day and actually fought a few fires up in the hills.
Pretty cool shit. The training is real and I am ACTUALLY certified in some fire fighting categories.
OH YEAH. Even got to fly in a helicopter while being a convict.

Bahahahaha. Juvy, the golden innoscent dayz.
Im a 21 year old, 3 time ex convicted felon, time served and still got probation for 5 years. Needless to say I also had House Arrest for 3 years. 500 hours Community Service in 2 years, over $160K in lawyer & court "costs" and fees. Money talks, bullshyt walks in my city.
Anyone that gets arrested, do one thing. Invest that time into your body and soul. Nothing more. I was doing 800+ pushups every day! If encarceration doesnt motivate you, I don't know what the hell to tell you.
I must say. You don't have to be in jail to be doing time. Quoted from a great idle TuPac Shakur. May his soul RIP. And may God bless you all, we make mistakes, and we all get our 15 minutes of fame as we get abused for 15 minutes. God shall judge all at the end.

Never been arrested. My boss from work though...
Some kid stole his neon(300000 miles on it, paint falling off, lime green door on blue car, rust covered POS). Well he found the kid, and beat the fucking shit out of him. Hospitalized the kid. Nothin major just broke arm and leg. The kid was 15 years old. Boss 62. Kids parrents are pressing charges. Boss is now a prisson bitch.
He was a nice guy though. Never though he could do something like this. Atleast I never got him angry. He's a big hunter, had a rifle in his trunk. If the kid did not take it out to pawn it, my boss probably would have shot him.
Stupid punk got what he desevered(sp). Like who is stupid enough to steal a neon?

ive been in and out of jail atleat 10 times since i was 17..in georgia they consider you a minor..for stupid shit though....but you know what is some really funny shit........actually not even funny just shocking..i even have a warrent for my arrest right now, and and my license is suspended...but i've had my background searched by the military becuase i almost went to the marines a month ago..and by a employer...and they didnt find one charge on me????? can anymore explain?
-

Cant explain but have a theory if you moved around STATES a lot. Takes awhile for all the records of each state to cross if they ever do for no reason. One day though, the law system will incorporate all of their records into one entity making it easy to track, trace and identify warrants and such. Some advice would be get into the military before it catches up to you...

that is already available to law enforcement. his was not caught because the recruiter did not have his actual history checked thru the national crime information system. they only check for local warrants ( warrants in the town you reside now). as far his employer, there check is only to see what your record is, (thefts, assaults, etc.) not if you have any outstanding warrants. the good thing is that most employers do not care about your record as long as you come across as a good worker. the pisser is that if the police checked your history for your employer they would have picked you up when you came back to start your job. the only reason you have not been hooked is because the warrant is probably a misdemeanor and is in another state. it cost money to extradite people and most district attorney offices will not extradite over suspended license or a misdemeanor warrant. some times felony warrants have to be of a high and aggravated nature for state to state pick ups. sooooooo.......... be very careful out there.

actually farm boy...the employer that checked my record, does a very detailed search on there employees..well when i was working there..i was building parts for boeing apache helicopters..so they did terrorist searches,,etc..and nothing..and i had to sign like 3 different release papers in the recruiters office, one for each county i had charges..i even named like 4 or 5 of them, but started kinda gettin embarrased so i just stopped right there...lol...and well, nothing.....
