speck of rubber stopper fell in fina is it still good????

a friend of mine said a small speck of the rubber stopper fell into hes fina...hes worried about if its still sterile and whatnot. can he still use it as long as he dosnt inject the small speck of rubber???he just made the fina and hasnt used it yet and would hate to have to get rid of it but he will if it will cause him problems. has any1 had this happen to them???

Hey bro, id tell ur bro to get the piece of rubber out. And then put vial in the oven and bake it at 225 for 20min. That will kill any containments.

if it was a piece of the underside (the part inside the bottle) of the stopper then there is no need to bake it. It is sterile (assuming the bottle was presealed like in A's kits). Just don't inject it of course, you can really either leave it or take it out. If he leaves it just make sure not to draw it up into the pin.

it was a bottle from fkits.com, so do u think its sterile??he said he noticed it after he took the pin out from bakeing it the second time. what is a easy way to get the speck out???

If u want to take it out bro, just pop the rubber stopper and ue a pin to get it out. But if u do that make sure u bake it after.
