Question AAS, Insulin Sensitivity and Caloric Deficits

Basically what I am trying to figure out is if AAS effects carbohydrate metabolism, perhaps as it relates to insulin sensitivity.

Does the use of androgens/anabolics effect insulin sensitivity? Would common cutting gear be known for this - like EQ or Winstrol ?

What about bulking roids like Deca or Test?

While administering Deca and EQ - what would happen if there was a caloric deficit (but high in protein - near keto)? ... While BF levels are high enough to protect against some muscle catabolism...

I hear a lot of people wondering about slow results and it is commonly blamed on not enough calories... but can AAS be used during caloric deficits to maintain the same weight but lower bodyfat in Mesomorph and Endomorph somotypes?

Any comments on this would be appreciated.

Not sure on the science behind it but you can definitely use AAS to help preserve your weight while lowering bodyfat. I wasn't even trying to on my last cycle test/var and I lost like 3-4%bf while gaining about 10lbs on my total weight. I was eating a good amount of food too. In terms of insulin sensitivity I don't believe that AAS effects it, I know GH does, but don't think AAS does; however I could be mistaken.

    bump for more answers

Was your caloric intake HIGH or LOW? Above or below baseline?

    Moderately high, definitely above baseline.
