I have always done it but whats the exact reason for keeping the doses (MGs) the same though cycles?:unsure:

I always thought the idea was to keep blood levels constant.

Matiff has it. The more hormone levels fluctuate the more sides one gets. Some people hold constant at a level for a while and then bump up to a new level for a time while others may frontload to get a desired hormone level quicker. Tapering off seems to have no effect on quicker recovery thus the demise of the pyramid cycle.
