    Question Testing Your Gear!

Does anyone know of somewhere you can buy the products used to test your gear to find out how good your gear is?

I doubt that it would be worth it to invest in that equipment when it's easy enough just to send your gear to a lab and have them verify it for you.

Interesting...90 bucks. It's too bad we don't have the organizational "prowess" (and/or trust) to pool some cash, have bros donate small portions of their gear and create an AR consumer reports for juice. I'm actually somewhat surprised someone hasn't started such a service where for a nominal fee they'll send you results on some of the more popular generics...

There have been results of tested gear posted on the 'net. But a lot of the generics vary so much from lot to lot that the applicability of those test results is somewhat questionable.

Actually, one of the best ways to do this is to round up a group of guys who use the same source and test that source's products to verify their integrity (if there's any doubt).

also, thats a good idea about pooling moneyy together to form some kind of data base to compare different generic products against.
