I think everyone gets 2 letters. There was a post cant remember which board, but it was talking about Flagged Addy's...oh yeah it was hard-n-ripped.com check it out, lots of valuble info there.
Normally, the first letter your receive lists the contents that were seized and a way to contest the seizure. The first letter should have a date that you must act by in order to contest the seizure.
More than likely, they sent the letter to let you know that the property has been destroyed.
It always a good idea to get a new addy after a seizure. It's like playing russian roulette with two bullets, instead of one.

when you dont respond to the 1st letter, they send a second one to make sure (lmfao) that you dont want they say is yours. they cant legally destroy it (yea, right) until they have given you ample notice that their going to burn up your gear.
you basically get 2 chances to claim it.........neither of which i would use.
xbiker is right(at least in my case). the 1st letter stated what was seized, and the 2nd letter was my last chance to say it was mine before they destroyed it.
