    well 1gm of powder is roughly the same volume as 1ml, maybe i little less. but if you plan to do some home experiments you'll need a volumetric flask with class A accuracy.

    mg and mls differ in many ways. The Milligram a unit of mass and the millilitre is a unit of volume. How mang mgs are in a ml are determined by the density of the liquid.

    The gram the base unit of mass so to find how many mgs are in a gram you will simply

    metre,litre, gram(base unit of mass,volume and length)

    Deci=.1
    centi=.01
    milli=.001

    the answer to your question is 1000 milligrams are equal to one gram.

    if im wrong somebody correct me please.
