has this ever happened to you bf while.....

i took a leg shot about an hour ago with a 25g 1" needle. i got about 3/4 of the way in and all of a sudden it felt as if i hit a wall. it would not go in any more and it hurt too. so i didn't force it and aspirated and no blood so i proceeded. everything else went normal and i seem fine since i'm typing. has that ever happened to anyone else. what was that or what did i hit. tendon maybe or was the needle to long. it kind of bugged me out to watch the needle stop like that without me stopping it. should i worry . any help would be great. i'm a little freaked out

I have gotten to the point where I actually bend the needle sideways when I try to inject in certain areas of my glutes. This is a note to you kids out there: Rotate your injection sites often.

I'm hitting scar tissue in the glutes too. It gets real painful when you are trying to push the needle and it just won't budge. I actually end up putting a good deal of pressure to get it in.
