What MD Specialist will prescribe Roids?

I'v got a serious pain in the shoulder from heavy military presses and front raises. I've literally dropped a 30lb weight (1/2 my normal lift) on a dumbell press from the pain. Regular doc won't even consider Anabolics for a muscle tear. (micro tears in the medial deltoid, and a full tear in some underlying muscle, can't remember the name). His advice was "You're 35 and shouldn't be lifting so heavy". What a dope.

What type of MD will be more open to a striaght Winstol cycle? I can get the black market (and have in the past) but I'd like to have the full recovery process, monitoring, blood levels, insurance...

    Little help here?

Meant the Winstrol depot? If that helps. If I can't get some medical assistance. I may have to come back here for some High-Level Cycle opinions and assistance.

What kinda MD will prescribe it? A corrupt one. Normal ones won't, it goes against their ethics. I have a friend who's an MD and I asked her the same thing, she said they have this manuel where it states what you can and what you can't prescribe humans, males and females. Winstrol is on neither. The only thing you MAY get is Testosterone , but it won't be for loss of muscle strength. Not unless you go into severe muscle atrophy will you get the lovely prescription, unless, like I said before, you find a corrupt doc.

I'd love to point one out to you, but I know of none!

You might be able to get a regular doc who is into alternative medicine to help you. They prescribe stuff a regular doctor wouldn't dream of. Thxe other way to go is not to find a corrupt doctor, but an incompetent one. Show him studies that recommend Winstrol for what you want it for. Have pages of studies printed up. Cover him with BS. That might work for you. Incidentally, endocrinologists are the specialist doc for hormone prescriptions.

Winstrol in the US is a Vetenary Steroid . Docs in Europe can prescribe Zambon Winstrol - which IS for humans.

I would think winny would be the last drug you would want. Might be able to talk a doc into some deca .

Okay, I'm an idiot. I did not consider that Winny was vet-grade, not human. I had such good results with it alone before, that I assumed it to be a good choice. I don't even want to conisder looking for a corrupt MD. Let me revise the question?

I always thought certain AAS were designed especially for rebuilding damaged muscle. Like in serious car accidents or debilitating injuries. What Dr. prescribes meds for these injuries? I'm looking at a semi-serious muscle tear with serious pain and direct effect on daily routines. I am now having trouble lifting a gallon of milk without pain.

If I have to I can go the Winny route, but I'm far more interested in a monitored program to get back to at least a pain free day. If I don't consider AAS, which MD would be best to see? Sports Medicine? Orthopedist? Who handles muscle and joint injuries that progress from bad to worse? Juice would be a bonus to speed the recovery, but I'm more interested in what the hell is wrong and how to fix it. "You're too old to lift that much" is not an acceptable answer in my book.

Anavar is prescribed for wound healing, that might be your best bet.

Screw the Winny for now and run a Deca /Eq stack. I just did one after a Prednisone treatment and feel great. If you want to add a Winstrol or fast acting androgen you could after you know you are recovering... other wise just run the two for at least 8 weeks.

Postconvalecent drugs are Deca for humans. And Eq is the Vet equivalent. I have read this a few times but did find the below from Steroids .com. BTW - I think this is one of the best application of Steroids - rehabilitation for athletes. Good luck to ya!

    This is from Steroids.com:

"What I do recommend is a different kind of cycle. You've heard of "off-season cycles" and "pre-contest cycles"? Well this is a "rehabilitation cycle". It's pretty basic really. For about 8 weeks (after you've been clean for a while), try either Deca, Equipoise or a combination of the 2 for a total of 200-300 milligrams per week (regardless of what your normal dosage would be). During that time you need to do a lot of rehabilitation training. At least 3 times per week, you should go to the gym and spend 30-40 minutes doing rotator cuff exercises, light leg extensions, light hyperextensions, stretching and whatever else. Talk to someone at a sports medicine clinic and find out what exercises you can do to strengthen your weak or injured areas (you don't have to tell them what you're doing, though).
These 2 steroids are special in my opinion because they actually promote joint tissue health-they seem to heal and loosen damaged tendons and ligaments. And their effects aren't simply due to their androgenic influences, because they can do things other steroids with similar properties can't. I've witnessed dramatically accelerated injury healing by a few of my associates that have gone on rehab cycles with Deca and/or Equipoise. About the only other drug I would suggest besides these 2 that can greatly enhance recovery from injuries is growth hormone . It's a little expensive, but if you can afford it, 2 IUs (International Units) of GH per day (on top of the 200-300 milligrams) will help damaged tissues heal even faster.

"Short "rehabilitation cycles" should be effective in reducing or eliminating the joint and tendon pain you've become accustomed to after heavy cycles"

Q:I would be curious as to what others are used for rehab besides Deca Durabolin (and the Vet Equipoise - postconvalecent for Horses and such...).

    From the profiles on AR:

    ANADROL 50
    Substance: oxymetholone

"... The highly androgenic effect of Anadrol stimulates the regeneration of the body so that the often feared "overtraining" is unlikely."

An oral option that docs prescribe at a recommended doesage of 1-5mg/kg of bodyweight. But that would give a 220 pound bodybuilder a dosage up to 500mg per day... if you were to venture that high you would need frequent medical examinations, and need to bear in mind the links to liver damage as well as liver cancer. 100mg stacked with Eq would be more effective than running it alone at higher dosages... IMO, and from what I have read on it.

Unimed makes the US version. Syntex makes it for numerous other countries.

The U.S. human grade chemical name for Winstrol is Stanozolol 50mg/ml. So if you are asking a doctor in the U.S. for Winstol ask for Stanozolol.

That's about what I figured. I was on the verge of ordering some Zambon (Spain) Winstrol (Stanzalol), but based on warrior's post, a cycle of Deca /EQ might be better. I'm already gaining weight from a lack of good reps (mostly limited to legs/abs/calfs), so I was hoping to stay off EQ because of the appetite increase. And Deca-D*** would severely affect my husbandly duties!!!

I'll probably see a MD specializing in Sports Medicine and get his input. I'm a little nervous about being too honest. Everything goes into your chart and that can be a problem when you go for life insurance. Believe it or not all that stuff is NOT as confidential as you'd like to beleive. When you apply for insurance they require that you allow them access to your medical records. So much for Doc/Patient confidentiallity.

Appreciate the input, but I'd still like recommendations on what type of specialist to see for this problem. Thanks Bro's!!

You can ask to speak to the doc "off the chart". If he will do that tell him what you are doing. If he won't don't tell him. If he says he'll think about it, don't tell him. I think the sports medicine doc is the way to go.

D_bear, I think this might qualify as a source post. You might want to edit that, and just tell him to PM you if he is interested.
