    Customs question

I sent for an international package that was received at united states customs on November 29. Today is Dec 3rd and the package is still in customs being processed.

Is this layover time at customs normal? Or is my package being seized?

The guy that I ordered from has reported no seizers to date...

Any feedback to ease my heartburn that I have over this will be very much appreciated.

The letter usually says.........if you want your shit , come and sign for it. Obviously you don't go !! More than likely you won't hear anything else from them once you get your letter.
I personally wouldn't go international , I did it once.......they're to fucking expensive.

If it is at customs it has probably been siezed. You,ll get a letter stating that you can go and collect. In others words write it off as a loss if you get the letter

Thanks for the info billy&sick. I'm doing business overseas. I haven't been burnt yet, but Its nice to know what to expect if it was ever seized. Does anyone know what they look for before they rip your shit open? If its boxed good doesn't look like they would check it out, unless they do it by random. Thanks

WHAT? Intl...is BY FAR the cheapest way to yo know your way around and know the right people.....

yea you may not be able to find Mex products as cheap as you could here in states...but why use those Mex products when you can get Human Euro products cheaper? Granted you dont mind going overseas.

I was thinking the same thing myself. But being the optimist that i am, I'm hoping that the mail is backed up... When u first posted your response to this thread I thought that you were probably right. My anxiety level was threw the roof

But, Here's the order in which things happened:
    1) Got tracking number
    2) Tracked package the next day and wasn't in USPS system yet.
    3) Next day package was received and being processed by US customs.
    4) It's been 5 days and package is still being processed by customs.

    Things to keep in mind:
    1) Package was recieved the day after Thanksgiving.
    2) The next day was a Saturday (Half Day)
    3) Sunday everything is closed.
    4) Mon and tues are the only days the package could move, so hopefully they were still catching up from the thanksgiving traffic.

IF THE PACKAGE IS STILL SITTING CUSTOMS ON FRIDAY, THEN I WILL THROW IN THE TOWEL AND SAY I'M SCREWED....
