    Question Protein sitting in milk?

    hey my question is how long can protein sit in milk before it starts going bad? meaning say i make a shake and something comes up so i dont get to drink it till like 1hr later or so or longer.. is it still good?

    Yes, it will still be good an hour later. Think about how long you would leave a glass of milk out before drinking it. The milk will go bad before the protein does.

    I make mine in the AM and drink them through the day. I do keep them in a thermos and in a refer. If it's in milk...I wouldn't leave it sitting out too long at room temp....I would think it would go bad...depending on how warm the room is.

    so the protien won't break down if left in the fridge for 24 hours
