Expiration Dates

Got ahold of some Schen Lab Test. Problem is the expiration date
is 7-99!!!! Anyone know if it is still safe/effective to use?

Its still good. The US Army did a study on using expired meds, they wanted to save money by using expired meds on soldiers. They found no signifigant(sp) deterioration in meds over 5 years after expiration.

i think it depends on the meds that were under their study....is tylenol still effective after its exp. date....yeah...is a drug like test still active, i dont know!...just my 2 cents...anyone else have any good thoughts?

I read a post from a bro who used some roids older than he was, they were from a display case in a medical school. They were still good after 20 years. I'll try to find that thread for you. I have some deca made by Schein right now that I am using that expired in 6/99. It works fine.

Jackass, you don't know what you're talking about here.

Steroids are very stable. If you can get your hands on it, and it has been kept out of strong light and at relatively cool temperatures, it's fine. If it was left in a case or a drawer for ten or even twenty years, I'd expect no SIGNIFICANT loss in potency.

I have used AAS that were older than I am by over ten years. No loss of effect.

only prob with mine is, it's been drawn before. It looks a little cloudy also.

I wouldn't use it, bro. If it has been drawn from it might not be sterile, and the cloudiness could be an indication of that. If it hadn't been used it would be no problem, but now you can't tell. Don't take the chance it isn't sterile. JMHO
