    Source Questions

You might have noticed that I added a notice into my signature about asking me source questions. Here's what it says and why its important:

DO NOT CONTACT ME WITH SOURCE QUESTIONS IF:
    1. You want me to give you a source.
    2. The source solicited you with his info.
    3. You've seen the source listed on a message board.
    4. Someone inexperienced gave you the source info.
    5. The source uses a website instead of e-mail.

    1. You want me to give you a source.
I will not give you a source for a few reasons. The most important reason is security. I do not wish to put a source at risk by giving his info to someone I do not know. This is something everyone should follow. Sources get busted because people get careless. Sources turn into scammers because the risk of getting busted is too high, but the money is hard to turn down.

    2. The source solicited you with his info.
This is a classic scammer tactic. Legit sources won't contact you. In fact, they don't usually want anyone to know they exist unless they trust that you are a legit customer. Why would a source risk his business and his freedom by advertising? If you ever get an unsolicited message from a member of AR, report it to a mod immediately. In doing so you could be saving a lot of members from being scammed.

    3. You've seen the source listed on a message board.
Once again, good sources don't advertise. That's not to say that legit sources won't resort to posting their info on a public message board, but they're more likely to get caught. If law enforcement agencies really need evidence to help convict a source, they could possible set you up and force you into the mess. Its not worth it.

    4. Someone inexperienced gave you the source info.
People that are inexperienced aren't necessarily lacking information, but it goes to show how easy it is to get source info nowadays. If its that easy for a newbie to get, just think about what law enforcement agencies know. Good sources are getting busted because information is spreading to people that shouldn't know anything. On the flipside, don't give newbies source info unless you trust them enough to give them your personal information.

    5. The source uses a website instead of e-mail.
Most "source" websites are actually scammers. Think about it. Why would a source want his info to be viewed by anyone that can type an address? This isn't to say that all source websites are scammers, but most are. This also doesn't mean that e-mail is safe.

    The Bottom Line:
Use your head and be safe. This isn't a game. Your freedom and the freedom of others is at stake. Too many people treat buying steroids the same as ordering anything else off the internet. You have to spend your money wisely, because you're more than likely to get scammed once or twice during your attempts to make a purchase.

And please...follow the rules regarding source questions.

    Thanks.

I don't mind helping, but some people need to think about what they're getting into.

    Maby Im Missing something

Im a newby when it comes to AS and new to AR. I havnt started my first cycle yet, but I've noticed something. It seems like every one just wants to keep their sources secret. How does one find a source if you cant ask the resident experts?

If you have a question about a particular source (a source check) Most mods or vets will answer it for you, but if your here for the sole purpose of finding a source then find another board.
There's plenty of "open source posting boards" on the internet. This isn't one of em.
For example: If your friend was selling drugs, and some guy you didn't know emailed you looking for someone to buy drugs from...Would u give him your friends name?? NO
    Same applies here.

Good post. But it always baffled me how one goes about getting a source without there being some sort of solicitation, be it directly, or through a third party. Otherwise there would be no buisness right?

Nice roundabout way to ask for a source.

Terrible first post, and you bumped a thread so old it has dust on it.

    Don't do that.
