Is it possible to grow more? 19/m

I'm just about 19 and standing 5'8'' I dont think i'v grown at all in the last two years... When my doctor measured me last year he actaully measured me being like 1/4 inch smaller. The gay part is i dont know any male in my family who is under 6'. dad, both grandfathers etc. Has anyone had a growth spurt after 19? I have been lifting since i was real young maybe 15, but only started doing heavy stuff, squats, bench like two years ago. Is it possible that this stunted my growth a little? :cry:

i am just a little older than you, and been at the exact same height for 3 years (5'8). every male in my family is 6'0 and over too. it certainly seems to be raining sheit on us doesn't it man? i wouldn't get my hopes up.

You should be able to go to your doc and find out if your growth plates are closed. It is possible that your body is a little slower at maturing than others. Don't sweat it!

i'm not really worried actaully, i'm pretty happy with my body how it is. just mostly curious. My grandfather always tells me that the "Irish are late bloomers"

I knew a guy who went from 5' 11' at 19 to 6'2" at 22. Its possible. All the growth came the last year. Lifting won't stunt your growth.

im 21 right now and i have only grown a half an inch since my freshman year in high school.....so i am standing at a mammoth 5'10"....i guess some of us just didn't get the height chromosome

im about 6 - 6'1 now and am 19... a couple years ago my orthadonist took xrays of my hand and said id be about 6'5 by looking at my hands and the xrays, however thats done. it doesnt look like im getting any taller tho:unsure:
