    NEWBIES: Posting questions

I've seen several long threads lately where newbies ("jr. members") and "members" have been posting questions that have nothing to do with the main idea of the thread. I see this a lot in shorter threads too.

If you want your questions answered, you'll probably get better and quicker responses if you start a new thread instead of asking a question at the end of an thread whose title has nothting to do with your question. By creating your own thread with a good title, your question will probably be answered quickly, AND your question will get the attention it should.

    Good point.
Newbies, if you would do some research before posting your question you might not get so many 'Do some research' type replies.

As you can see, I'm not trying to bash the newbies. I'm just reminding people that it helps if they allow threads to stay on topic. As I noted, It helps when people post off-topic questions in a new thread.
