Why am I such a rookie at drawing from vial
I started my cycle today (was suppose to start monday but go to excited) anyways, im doing a 400mg eq and 500mg test.
so ill explain what i did,
1.Pull the needle to 1cc
2.Poke needle into vial
3.Push needle alll the way down
4.Flip vial upside down
5.Pull to 1cc
So little comes out and takes forever
Im using a 22g 1 1/2 needle
Im I just stupid or is it the wrong needle to be doing this.
I need help for my next injection on thursday.

You did it exactly right.
Try putting more air in the vial.

I know what you mean though, it took forever to draw a cc my first time. You'll get used to it and it'll come out faster, but just watch out for the air bubbles. Usually 1cc of air is good enough though.

you could also try warming the vial in your hands or in a hot water bath, it will decrease the viscosity of the oil and will make it easier and quicker to draw and inject.

Im assuming you are, but just ioncase....make sure to swab the top of the vial and your injection site with alchohol.

i had that prob too, worked better when i flipped vial upside down then pushed air in. Make sure you draw out REALLY slow, it works better and I get less bubbles....ask your parents for suggestions also..

You are following the right steps. You just have to be patient. Also I would inject 2cc's air into the vial. I really dont think it would matter if the bottle is upside down or not when you inject the air. But incase you are supersititious (lol j/k) then put the needle in, flip upside down and then inject the 2cc's of air. That is my procedure and I have never had a prob, but you have to realize its not a fast process regardless man. Only other thing you could do is use a 19g for withdrawing and then screw on a 22 to inject.

I always use a 18g. to draw with. I figure since I change the pins when I go to inject it, why not draw with a bigger needle. Only takes about 2 or 3 seconds to draw up a couple cc's with a 18 g. needle.

thats what I do, I use a 20 g needle to draw with and switch pins to inject with.

This is also something to think about. Continued use of a 18g. needle can shred a rubber stopper up quite a bit. I am waiting for the day when I am 80 years old and the doc is still pulling pieces of rubber stopper out of my traps, bi's, tri's, lats, pecs, glute, quads, and delts saying WTF?

Use a 18ga pin! The 22ga is still to small to draw oil up fast!

easiest solution is to just inject more air into the bottle. initially go with 2 or even 3 cc's regardless of how much you're drawing. the extra pressure in the bottle will push the liquid into the syringe. personally, i don't mind the wait as i get all worked up waiting for the syringe to fill up to where i need it.

Pussies, use the 18 to shoot. Especially you Velvet, I'm disappointed.

are you sure that, with the needle all the way down, when you flip over the vial, the tip of the needle is still submerged in fluid, and you not sucking in part air, part gear?
just a thought

Help me, please! This is my first time injecting my bf and I need a little direction. His friend showed me how, but I want to make absolutely positive I get it in the right spot (his glute is tonight).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated . . .

Thanks IB. We are good to go. Musubi is my gf and she was a little stressed about sticking in the wrong spot. I showed her the faq on here and a few other websites but she still make a quick post while I was in the shower. She just did it and did a great job. By the end of this cycle she will be a pro.

The only reason you inject air into a vial is because the rubber stopper keeps it pressurized. Once you open the amp it is not under any pressure so there is no need to inject air into it to compensate for the oil you are removing.
